I am late on getting my ranunculus in due to very limited time windows for gardening. We've had an incredibly warm spell and soil temps are now 72. Temps should be cooling off again next week.. thinking I'll now wait until then to put them in, but overall I'm concerned I may have missed the boat for this year. Thoughts?
Hey Julia! Sorry it took me a moment to get to this. I am worried you missed the boat, once the temps are consistently over 70 degrees they will go dormant. What are your summer temps?
High sixties to high seventies… and a few heat waves into the high eighties or more.
